Malefic Throne is an American death metal band formed in 2020 by guitarist Gene Palubicki (Angelcorpse, Perdition Temple), bassist and vocalist Steve Tucker (Morbid Angel), and drummer John Longstreth (Origin, Hate Eternal, ex-Angelcorpse). Their debut album, "The Conquering Darkness," was released on November 28, 2025, under Agonia Records. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Menegroth The Thousand Caves studio with Colin Marston. The cover artwork was created by artist Daniele Valeriani, known for his work with Dark Funeral and Mayhem. The band's logo was designed by Christophe Szpajdel, recognized for his collaborations with Emperor and Moonspell.
