Mama's Pride is an American rock band formed in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1972. Their debut album, "Mama's Pride," was released in 1975 under the production of Arif Mardin. This was followed by "Uptown & Lowdown" in 1977. The band is known for their Southern rock style with blues influences. Throughout their career, they toured with bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band, and The Charlie Daniels Band. In 1992, they released the album "Guard Your Heart." Since 2003, they have been holding regular reunion concerts in St. Louis.
