Mami Nagata is a Japanese organist born in 1987 in Himeji. She studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts and later at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. In 2015, she won the first prize at the 12th International Gottfried Silbermann Organ Competition. Since 2018, she has been the resident organist at the Parnassus Concert Hall in Himeji. She released the album "Orgelwerke" in 2018, featuring works by composers such as Bach, Sweelinck, Buxtehude, Böhm, and Mendelssohn. She is married to Japanese concert organist Kensuke Ohira.
