Marco Poggiolesi is an Italian guitarist who began playing the guitar at the age of twelve. He studied classical guitar at the Florence Conservatory of Music and later focused on jazz under the guidance of Gianni Zei. In 2010, he recorded the album "Tandem" in duo with double bassist Ferdinando Romano, which was released in 2011 by Philology Records. In 2024, he recorded "Meu Violão," an album dedicated to the work of Antf4nio Carlos Jobim, which was released in 2025 by Da Vinci Publishing. Poggiolesi is known for his ability to blend jazz, classical music, and traditional Latin American styles in his playing.
