cd - Marcus Hook Roll Band

Marcus Hook Roll Band was a studio group formed in London in 1972 by Harry Vanda and George Young, former members of The Easybeats. The band released a single album, "Tales of Old Grand-Daddy," in March 1974 in Australia. The recordings are notable for featuring the first studio experiences of Malcolm and Angus Young, who later founded AC/DC. The album was recorded at EMI Studios in Sydney between July and August 1973. Musically, the album spans rock, blues rock, and hard rock genres. In 2014, the album was reissued with two previously unreleased tracks.
