Marcus Klossek is a German guitarist renowned for his mastery of the Fender Telecaster electric guitar. Over the past decade, he has gained recognition primarily with his Electric Trio, featuring bassist Carsten Hein and drummer Derek Scherzer. In 2023, he expanded his trio by adding three wind players from the Berlin scene—trombonist Anke Lucks, trumpeter Nikolaus Neuser, and tenor saxophonist Ignaz Dinné—forming the ensemble Blink 6. Their album "Blink 6" was recorded in December 2022 at Berlin's Zentri.Fuge Studio and released in September 2023 under the Double Moon Records label. The album comprises eight tracks that blend elements of contemporary jazz, experimental rock, and new music.
