Maria Milstein is a Russian-born violinist, born in 1985 in Moscow. She studied in Amsterdam with Ilya Grubert, in London with David Takeno, and at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium with Augustin Dumay. She is a laureate of several international competitions, including the Città di Brescia and Premio Rodolfo Lipizer in Italy, the ARD Competition in Munich, and the Lyon Chamber Music Competition. In 2016, she received a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship, and in 2018, she was awarded the Dutch Music Prize. As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras such as the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Belgium. She is a member of the Van Baerle Trio and has been teaching at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam since 2014. The products available from the artist Maria Milstein include CDs.
