empty cell Mark Hollis
Mark Hollis was an English musician and singer-songwriter, best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of the band Talk Talk. The group began in 1981 as a synth-pop ensemble, but under Hollis's direction, their sound evolved into a more experimental style. Albums such as "The Colour of Spring" (1986), "Spirit of Eden" (1988), and "Laughing Stock" (1991) are considered seminal works in the post-rock genre. In 1998, Hollis released his only solo album, "Mark Hollis," which continued the minimalist and introspective style of his previous work. Following this release, he retired from the music industry and passed away in February 2019 at the age of 64. The products available from the artist Mark Hollis include CDs.
