Mark Lanegan was an American singer and songwriter known for his deep baritone voice. He began his musical career in 1984 as the lead vocalist for the grunge band Screaming Trees, releasing seven studio albums with the group. During his tenure with the band, he also embarked on a solo career, with his second album, "Whiskey for the Holy Ghost" (1994), receiving critical acclaim. In 2004, he released "Bubblegum," featuring collaborations with artists like PJ Harvey and members of Queens of the Stone Age. Lanegan was also a member of The Gutter Twins and Queens of the Stone Age and collaborated with various artists throughout his career.
