Martin Kolbe and Ralf Illenberger are a German guitar duo who began collaborating in 1978. Their debut album, "Waves," received critical acclaim and was nominated for the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis. Over their ten-year partnership, they released seven albums and performed over 1,000 concerts in approximately 40 countries. Their music blends elements of folk, jazz, and acoustic genres. In 2022, they released "Emotions: Live in Bremen 1978," featuring previously unreleased tracks from their Bremen concert.
