Marty Wilde is an English singer and songwriter who was among the first British pop stars to emulate American rock and roll. In the 1950s and 1960s, he achieved several hits, including "Endless Sleep," "Sea of Love," and "Bad Boy." Throughout his career, he collaborated with various artists and wrote songs for other performers, such as "Jesamine" for The Casuals and "Ice in the Sun" for Status Quo. He is the father of pop singer Kim Wilde and co-wrote her hit "Kids in America" with her and his son Ricky. Wilde continues to record and perform to this day.
