Matt Andersen is a Canadian blues guitarist and singer-songwriter from Perth-Andover, New Brunswick. He began his musical career in 2002 with the band Flat Top. Andersen has released several albums, including "Coal Mining Blues" (2011), "Weightless" (2014), "Honest Man" (2016), and "Halfway Home by Morning" (2019). In 2010, he won first place in the solo category at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, becoming the first Canadian to receive this honor. His music blends elements of blues, rock, and Americana. Andersen has collaborated with artists such as Marcus King, Beth Hart, and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
