Matthew Barber is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for his work in indie pop, pop rock, and folk genres. Born in Mississauga, Ontario, he grew up in Port Credit. While attending Queen's University, he released his debut album "A Thousand Smiles An Hour" in 1999. He later gained attention with the 2002 album "Means and Ends," which was re-released in 2003. In 2008, he released "Ghost Notes," recorded at the Bathouse Recording Studio in Ontario. This album features tracks like "Easily Bruised" and "Where the River Bends."
