Mátyás Bartha is a Hungarian jazz pianist who began his musical journey at the age of eight in Szentendre. He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz under Olaf Polziehn. During his studies, he collaborated with musicians such as Stjepko Gut, Michael Abene, and Dena DeRose. Since 2015, he has been based in Vienna, performing with Martin Breinschmid and Herbert Swoboda. His trio, featuring Danny Ziemann on double bass and Christian Salfellner on drums, released the albums "Self-Reflection" (2021) and "From This Moment On" (2023). Bartha is known for blending traditional jazz with other genres and has collaborated with artists like Sheila Jordan and Don Menza.
