Meat Wave is an American punk band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 2011. The trio consists of Chris Sutter (guitar, vocals), Joe Gac (bass guitar), and Ryan Wizniak (drums). Their music is characterized as aggressive post-punk with lo-fi elements. They released their self-titled debut album in 2012, followed by "Delusion Moon" (2015), "The Incessant" (2017), and "Malign Hex" (2022). The band is an active part of the Chicago punk scene and has collaborated with bands such as Elephant Gun, Truman & His Trophy, and Pink Torpedo.
