Mefitis is a dark metal band from California, formed in 2007 by Pendath and Vatha. Their 2019 debut album, "Emberdawn," showcased a unique style blending black and death metal. In 2021, they released "Offscourings," expanding their musical scope and introducing a conceptual framework called Skoria. Their third album, "The Skorian // The Greyleer," released in 2024, was recorded on analog tape and divided into two reflective parts. The album was mastered by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound Studio and released under Profound Lore Records.
