Memoryhouse is a Canadian indie dream pop duo formed in 2009 in Guelph, Ontario. The band consists of composer Evan Abeele and vocalist Denise Nouvion. Their music is characterized by ethereal melodies and ambient soundscapes, with their style often compared to Beach House. In 2010, they released the EP 'The Years', which was re-released in 2011 under the Sub Pop label. Their debut album, 'The Slideshow Effect', was released in 2012, followed by 'Soft Hate' in 2016.
