Memphis Minnie, born Lizzie Douglas, was an American blues guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. Over her more than three-decade career, she recorded approximately 200 songs, including well-known tracks like "When the Levee Breaks", "Me and My Chauffeur Blues", "Bumble Bee", and "Nothing in Rambling". She was renowned for her powerful voice and guitar skills, making her one of the leading blues artists of her time. In 1980, she was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.
