Ménélik, born Albert Tjamag, is a Cameroonian-French rapper and singer. He was born on September 10, 1970, in Yaoundé, Cameroon, and moved to France at the age of nine. In 1995, he released his debut album "Phénoménélik," which reached number 33 on the charts. His second album, "Je me souviens," released in 1997, featured the hit single "Bye-Bye," which peaked at number 5 on the French singles chart. In 1996, he received the Victoire de la Musique award for "Male Revelation of the Year." Ménélik is known for his contributions to the French hip-hop scene and collaborations with artists like MC Solaar and DJ Jimmy Jay.
