In 1995, he released his debut album "Phénoménélik," which reached number 33 on the charts. His second album, "Je me souviens," released in 1997, featured the hit single "Bye-Bye," which peaked at number 5 on the French singles chart. In 1996, he received the Victoire de la Musique award for "Male Revelation of the Year." Ménélik is known for his contributions to the French hip-hop scene and collaborations with artists like MC Solaar and DJ Jimmy Jay.
