Mew is a Danish alternative rock band from Copenhagen, formed in 1995. The band consists of Jonas Bjerre (vocals), Johan Wohlert (bass guitar), and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen (drums). Their third album, "Frengers" (2003), brought them international recognition. The following album, "And the Glass Handed Kites" (2005), was designed as a continuous musical suite and won four Danish music awards. In 2009, they released "No More Stories...". In September 2024, the band announced their breakup, with final concerts scheduled for spring 2025. The products available from the artist Mew include CDs, vinyls.
