Miami Sound Machine was an American Latin pop band founded in 1975 by Emilio Estefan Jr. Originally named Miami Latin Boys, the group changed its name after the addition of vocalist Gloria Estefan. Their 1985 album "Primitive Love" featured hits like "Conga", "Bad Boy", and "Words Get in the Way". In 1987, they released "Let It Loose", which included "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You" and "Anything for You". The band combined Latin rhythms with pop and dance-pop, achieving international popularity.
