Michael Kaykov is an American pianist and educator who was born into a musical family and gave his first public performance at the age of six. He earned his undergraduate degree from Mannes College of Music, a master's degree from The Juilliard School, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Manhattan School of Music, where he wrote his dissertation on the evolution of Alexander Scriabin's harmonic language. Kaykov has performed as a soloist throughout the USA, Europe, and Asia. He is a Steinway & Sons educational partner and has been on the piano faculty at the Harlem School of the Arts in New York City since 2018. His albums, including a series devoted to the piano works of Franz Liszt, are released by Odradek Records. The products available from the artist Michael Kaykov include CDs.
