Michal David is a Czech singer, composer, and producer known for his pop music. While studying at the Prague Conservatory in 1976, he founded the jazz group "Čtyři". He later joined the pop group Kroky. In 1980, he debuted with the song "Chtěl bych žít tak jak se má", and in 1981, he won the Intertalent festival with "Nenapovídej". His notable hits include "Nonstop", "Discopříběh", and "Pár přátel". He composed music for films such as "Vítr v kapse" and "Discopříběh". In 2002, he debuted as the author of the musical "Kleopatra". Throughout his career, he has sold over 3.5 million records and written over 600 songs.
