Mickey Jupp is an English musician and songwriter, recognized as a pioneer of pub rock. He began his career in the 1960s in Southend-on-Sea and formed the band Legend in 1968, releasing several albums including the notable "Red Boot" album. After Legend disbanded, Jupp pursued a solo career, releasing albums such as "Juppanese" (1978) and "Long Distance Romancer" (1979). His songs have been recorded by artists like Dr. Feelgood, Nick Lowe, and Dave Edmunds. In 2024, he released the album "Times Like These".
