MIEN is a psychedelic supergroup composed of members from The Black Angels, Elephant Stone, The Earlies, and Golden Dawn Arkestra. Their debut album, 'MIEN,' was released in 2018, followed by their second album, 'MIIEN,' on April 18, 2025, under the Fuzz Club label. The band is known for its experimental approach to music, blending various influences and pushing the boundaries of the psychedelic genre. Recordings took place in Montreal, Abilene, and Austin, Texas, with each member contributing their unique style to create rich soundscapes. MIEN consists of Rishi Dhir (bass, guitar, keyboards), Robb Kidd (drums), John Mark Lapham (keyboards, samples, programming), and Alex Maas (vocals, bass, guitar).
