Mirek Coutigny is a Belgian pianist and producer specializing in blending electronic and acoustic instruments. In 2018, he released his first EP, 'Revisions #1', followed by 'The Further We Ventured' in 2020. In 2023, he released his debut album, 'Through Empty Landscapes and New Beginnings', inspired by Emily St. John Mandel's book 'Station Eleven'. Coutigny collaborates with longtime members of his live band, including Jolien Deley, Jonathan Bonny, and Klaas Tomme. His music is characterized by cinematic soundscapes that combine piano, string instruments, percussion, and electronics.
