Mogwai is a Scottish post-rock band formed in 1995 in Glasgow. The band consists of Stuart Braithwaite (guitar, vocals), Barry Burns (guitar, piano, synthesizer, vocals), Dominic Aitchison (bass guitar), and Martin Bulloch (drums). Their music is characterized by lengthy instrumental compositions featuring dynamic contrasts and extensive use of effects. Their debut album, "Mogwai Young Team," was released in 1997. In 2025, they released their eleventh studio album, "The Bad Fire."
