Mono & World's End Girlfriend is a collaboration between Japanese post-rock band Mono and electronic composer World's End Girlfriend. Their joint album, "Palmless Prayer / Mass Murder Refrain," was originally released on December 14, 2005, through Human Highway Records and later re-released in 2006 via Temporary Residence Limited. The album comprises five parts that collectively form a neoclassical composition approximately 74 minutes in length. Recording took place in multiple studios across Japan, featuring various musicians, including cellist Seigen Tokuzawa and pianist Kazumasa Hashimoto. The album received positive reviews from critics for its orchestral depth and emotional intensity.
