Monsters of Folk was an American supergroup composed of Jim James from My Morning Jacket, Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis from Bright Eyes, and M. Ward. Formed in 2004 during a joint tour, the band released their sole album, "Monsters of Folk," in 2009. The album reached number 15 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured singles like "Say Please" and "Dear God (Sincerely M.O.F.)." Their music blended elements of folk, folk rock, and indie folk. In 2024, the band released an expanded edition of the album to commemorate its 15th anniversary, including five previously unreleased tracks.
