Monstrosity is an American death metal band formed in 1990 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The original lineup included vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, drummer Lee Harrison, guitarist Jon Rubin, and bassist Mark Van Erp. Their debut album, "Imperial Doom," was released in 1992, followed by "Millennium" in 1996. Fisher left the band in 1996 to join Cannibal Corpse. Monstrosity released subsequent albums, including "In Dark Purity" (1999), "Rise to Power" (2003), "Spiritual Apocalypse" (2007), and "The Passage of Existence" (2018).
