Mors Principium Est is a Finnish melodic death metal band formed in 1999 in Pori. Their debut album, "Inhumanity," was released in 2003, followed by "The Unborn" (2005) and "Liberation = Termination" (2007). The band is known for its complex instrumental passages and expressive melodies characteristic of Finnish melodic death metal. In 2022, they released "Liberate the Unborn Inhumanity," featuring newly recorded tracks from their first three albums and their second demo, "Valley of Sacrifice." The band remains active today, continuing to create music within the melodic death metal genre.
