Mortel is a German rapper and actor with Congolese roots who grew up in Germany. He is the founder and co-owner of the label Racaille Music Group, which he runs alongside Ufuk K. (“Holic”) and Ünkut brand designer Anthony Neal (“Tome”). In 2019, he established the label WESHSIDE and signed his younger brother Kaïko. His 2017 mixtape “Racaille” reached number 26 on the German album charts. Mortel has collaborated with artists such as Fler, Sido, Azad, and Nimo. In 2021, he appeared in the thriller “Alles auf Rot.”
