Mother Engine is a German instrumental rock band from Plauen, Saxony, formed in 2011. Their music blends elements of psychedelic, progressive, and stoner rock. They released their debut album, "Muttermaschine," in 2012, followed by "Absturz" in 2015 and "Hangar" in 2017. The "Hangar" album features four tracks, each exceeding 18 minutes in length, and was released under the Heavy Psych Sounds label. The band is known for their energetic live performances and complex instrumental compositions.
