Their debut album, "Fairy Tales," released in 1979, features three classic fairy tales interpreted through innovative arrangements and Smyth's unique vocals. The band released several more albums, including the "Robot Woman" trilogy between 1981 and 1986. Their music is known for its experimental approach and fusion of various genres, collaborating with artists like Nik Turner from Hawkwind and Didier Malherbe from Gong.
