Mud Morganfield, born Larry Williams, is an American blues singer and the eldest son of the legendary Muddy Waters. Born in Chicago, he began his music career after his father's death in 1983. His notable albums include "Son of a Seventh Son" (2012), "For Pops: A Tribute To Muddy Waters" (2014), and "They Call Me Mud" (2018). His music is influenced by traditional blues and often pays homage to his father's work. In 2015, he won a Blues Music Award in the "Traditional Blues Album" category for "For Pops: A Tribute To Muddy Waters".
