Municipal Waste is an American crossover thrash metal band from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 2000. The current lineup consists of vocalist Tony Foresta, rhythm guitarist Ryan Waste, bassist Philip "Land Phil" Hall, drummer Dave Witte, and lead guitarist Nick "Nikropolis" Poulos. The band has released seven studio albums, including "Waste 'Em All" (2003), "The Art of Partying" (2007), and "Electrified Brain" (2022). Their music is influenced by bands such as Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., and Slayer. In 2017, they received the Loudwire Music Award for "Metal Song of the Year" for the track "Amateur Sketch".
