Murcof is the stage name of Mexican electronic musician Fernando Corona. Born in 1970 in Tijuana, he was a member of the Nortec Collective under the alias Terrestre. In 2000, he returned to Tijuana, and since 2006, he has resided in Barcelona. His music blends minimalist electronics with influences from classical music, ambient, and experimental genres. Notable albums include "Martes" (2002), "Remembranza" (2005), and "The Versailles Sessions" (2008). He has collaborated with artists such as Erik Truffaz and Vanessa Wagner.
