Myriam Gendron is a Canadian musician and songwriter based in Montreal. Born in 1988 in Ottawa, she grew up in Gatineau, Paris, and Washington, D.C. In 2014, she released her debut album "Not So Deep as a Well," setting Dorothy Parker's poems to music. This was followed by "Ma Délire. Songs of Love, Lost and Found" in 2021, featuring her interpretations of traditional Canadian songs. In 2024, she released "Mayday," which was nominated for the 2025 Polaris Music Prize. Her music blends traditional folk with avant-garde elements.
