Naglfar is a Swedish melodic black metal band formed in 1992 in Umeå. Originally known as Uninterred, the band changed its name to Naglfar, inspired by the ship from Norse mythology. Their debut album, "Vittra," was released in 1995, followed by "Diabolical" in 1998. After several lineup changes, they released "Sheol" in 2003 and "Pariah" in 2005. Their music combines elements of black and death metal with melodic undertones. In 2020, they released their seventh studio album, "Cerecloth."
