Narciso Yepes was a Spanish classical guitarist renowned for his technical proficiency and innovations in guitar playing. Born in Lorca, Spain, he studied at the conservatory in Valencia. Yepes is noted for his interpretation of Joaquín Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez," which he recorded with the Orquesta Sinfónica de RTVE under the direction of Odón Alonso. Additionally, he contributed to the popularization of the ten-string guitar, which he helped develop. His discography includes works such as "Fantasía para un gentilhombre" and "Recuerdos de la Alhambra."
