Neck Deep is a Welsh pop-punk band formed in 2012 in Wrexham. The original lineup included vocalist Ben Barlow, guitarists Lloyd Roberts and Matt West, bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans, and drummer Dani Washington. After releasing the EPs "Rain in July" (2012) and "A History of Bad Decisions" (2013), they signed with Hopeless Records. Their debut album, "Wishful Thinking," was released in 2014, followed by "Life's Not out to Get You" (2015), "The Peace and the Panic" (2017), "All Distortions Are Intentional" (2020), and "Neck Deep" (2024). The band has cited influences from groups like Blink-182, New Found Glory, and Sum 41. In 2014, they won the Kerrang! Award for Best British Newcomer.
