Neil Merryweather was a Canadian rock singer, bassist, and songwriter, born Robert Neilson Lillie in 1945 in Winnipeg. He began his career in the 1960s in Toronto under the name Bobby Neilson. In 1969, he released the album "Word of Mouth," featuring collaborations with Steve Miller and Barry Goldberg. In 1974, he released "Space Rangers," followed by "Kryptonite" in 1975. Throughout his career, he collaborated with artists such as Charlie Musselwhite and Dave Mason. He passed away in 2021 in Las Vegas.
