Nektaria Karantzi is a Greek singer renowned for her significant contributions to Byzantine music. From a young age, she participated in church choirs and recorded a series of albums featuring Byzantine hymns, including collaborations with Saint Porphyrios of Kafsokalyvia. She has worked with notable musicians such as Chronis Aidonidis and Vassilis Tsabropoulos; their album "Eleison" blends Byzantine hymns with Western and Eastern musical influences. Karantzi is also the founder of the Panhellenic Association of Women in Byzantine Ecclesiastical Music and serves as the artistic director of the Traditional Music School "Chronis Aidonidis".
