Neu! was a German krautrock band formed in Düsseldorf in 1971 by Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother after their departure from Kraftwerk. The band is known for its minimalist style and pioneering use of the "motorik" beat, which influenced many later artists. During their original existence, they released three studio albums: "Neu!" (1972), "Neu! 2" (1973), and "Neu! '75" (1975). Despite limited commercial success at the time, their work became pivotal in the krautrock movement and influenced genres such as electronica and punk. The band briefly reunited in the mid-1980s but soon disbanded again. The products available from the artist Neu! include vinyls, CDs.
