New European Ensemble (NEuE) is a group founded in 2009 in the Netherlands, composed of young soloists, chamber musicians, and orchestral leaders from across Europe. The ensemble specializes in contemporary classical music and has gained recognition for its innovative programming and excellent performances. NEuE often combines music with film, literature, theater, dance, and visual art. They have collaborated with notable composers such as Mark-Anthony Turnage, José María Sánchez-Verdú, and Anna Thorvaldsdóttir. In 2019, they were awarded the prestigious Kersjesprijs for a decade of outstanding achievements in presenting contemporary music to a wide audience.
