NGC-4594 was a psychedelic rock band from Storrs, Connecticut, formed in 1967. During their brief existence, they released a single titled "Skipping Through The Night" with "Going Home" as the B-side. The band's name is derived from the designation for the Sombrero Galaxy, known as NGC 4594. In 2011, their unreleased album "What NGC-4594 Really Means!" was discovered and subsequently released. Their music is characterized as acid rock and psychedelic rock, often compared to bands like Country Joe & The Fish, Jefferson Airplane, and The Doors.
