No Joy is a Canadian shoegaze band from Montreal, formed in 2009 by Jasamine White-Gluz and Laura Lloyd. Their debut album, "Ghost Blonde," was released in 2010 under the Mexican Summer label. Subsequent albums include "Wait to Pleasure" (2013), "More Faithful" (2015), and "Motherhood" (2020). In 2025, they released "Bugland" under the Hand Drawn Dracula label. Musically, they operate within the shoegaze, indie rock, and dream pop genres. The band is known for their experimental sound textures and innovative production approach. Jasamine White-Gluz is the primary member of the band and collaborated with producer Fire-Toolz on the "Bugland" album.
