Nocte Obducta is a German avant-garde black metal band formed in 1993 in Mainz under the name Desîhra. The band has released fourteen albums, including "Lethe – Gottverreckte Finsternis" (1999), "Taverne – In Schatten schäbiger Spelunken" (2000), and "Karwoche – Die Sonne der Toten pulsiert" (2023). Their music combines elements of black metal with avant-garde influences, creating a unique sound. The band is known for their poetic and cryptic lyrics and atmospheric compositions. Throughout their career, they have collaborated with several record labels, including Supreme Chaos Records and Grind Syndicate Media.
