Northward is a hard rock project formed in 2007 as a collaboration between Dutch singer Floor Jansen and Norwegian guitarist Jørn Viggo Lofstad. During a break from their main bands, they decided to explore a new musical direction. Their self-titled debut album, "Northward", was released in 2018 and features tracks like "While Love Died" and "Storm in a Glass". The album was recorded in Sweden and produced by Jacob Hansen. The project is known for its energetic hard rock sound, distinct from the symphonic metal both artists are known for.
