Notos Quartett is a German piano quartet founded in 2007. They have won six first prizes at international competitions in the Netherlands, Italy, England, and China. Their 2017 debut album, "Hungarian Treasures," features the world premiere recording of Béla Bartók's piano quartet. In 2017, they received the ECHO Klassik award as Newcomer of the Year. In 2022, they were honored with the Würth Prize by Jeunesses Musicales. The quartet is dedicated to interpreting well-known masterpieces, uncovering forgotten works, and premiering new compositions.
